The owls come in different sizes, too, so there’s bound to be owls for everyone’s liking (currently 70(!) different owls to choose from). See the sixth picture? The one with the green bow? Yes? Good. Lovely, isn’t it?

The above featured products are made by Isi, the artist behind The Mystical Triangle Owl.

Now, let’s be honest. Most of us don’t have so much money as to throw it around. The products from The Mystical Triangle Owl have the huge advantage of being affordable with everything in the shop being priced no more than 3€.
But it isn’t the mere affordability that makes The Mystical Triangle Owl’s products outstanding. While this particular owl that features the products is a rather common motive thanks to the Stampin’ Up Owl Punch, it is the arrangement of owl and additional details, the colour scheme that made me fall in love with Isi’s works.

Featured Artist of the Month | December

You may have noticed by now that I can’t resist an adorable owl plushie/pillow,
of all the owly things out there owl cushions are probably my very favourite.
I’m sure it doesn’t come as a surprise then that this month’s featured artist offers a range of owl plushies (see image 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8). Yes, I’ve fallen in love. Again. So if someone out there wants to give me a christmas present… :p 

December’s Artist Anna Jakob calls the small label Anna Golightly her own, a label she sells in her very own (real) shop in Hamburg, Germany.
Don’t worry, though, her products are available online as well. 
Apart from the owl cushions many more plushies are available, all made by hand and with much love and care for details.

Personally, I find the music box owls (see image 1, 4, 5 & 6) a very smart idea but my absolute favourite, as you may have guessed already, are the cushions, asdfghjkl, I’m serious, someone get me one for christmas!

The lovely owl pillow I’m talking about (see the pictures above) is made by this month’s Featured Artist Emma Margaret, a 19-years old Illustration student located in the UK.
In her shop, Doodle Design, she offers a wide range of illustrated cards, prints & notebooks (let’s not forget about the pillow!).
What I like especially about her designs are the filigree details of her work,
and there’s always something new to discover.
I’d go so far as to compare it to a book, every re-read offers something new you haven’t noticed the last time you read it. Also, pillow! 

With this artist you’re in for a treat, dear fellow owl-lovers.
Because, and that’s just another thing I really, really like, on her blog she shares her ideas, posts sketches, inspirational quotes, monthly wallpapers for your desktop, colour combinations, and images of her work process.
